Our family website to celebrate the life of Maeve, born January 2007, and all of her adventures. Our family grew in February 2009 as we welcomed William home.
Before going to Cora's party, we stopped off at IKEA. Wow, that place is overwhelming. But Mom and Dad went with purpose - to buy a table and chair set for me. Somehow the crab came home as well. Dad is such a sucker. I woke up this morning to my new present. Now I have a place to sit and play. MMF
On Saturday, we were off on another adventure. We visited my friend Cora who was having her first birthday party. I had lots of yummy fruit and a little cake and ice cream. Dad enjoyed the burger that Cora's daddy made. Happy Birthday Cora! MMF
On Sunday Mom and Dad took me to a nearby park. I enjoyed riding on Dad's shoulders. It is a much better perspective from six feet up than two and a half. As we were coming down to the pond, I saw them. I had heard much about ducks in books and on the television (during Sesame Street, of course). But I had never seen one. I was ready to run into the water to say "hi" before Mom and Dad restrained me. I did my best to speak their language "quack, quack, quack" but I got nothing. It was exciting nonetheless, and I look forward to our next visit. MMF
