Who needs toys.

While toys are fun, nothing beats a good box to hang out in. One year and twenty pounds elevated me to a new car seat (forward facing). So this was the box it came in.

Music time.

For my first birthday, I received a pair of maracas. I'm still trying to master them, but I'm getting it. At least I have the look of a serious musician. I'm sorry, I cannot talk with you anymore, I need to get back to my music.

Evening ritual.

Now that I am one, the parents have determined that I need to carry my weight around the house. One task I have been given is to help Dad sort the mail and separate out the junk mail. I hit the mother load on this one: VAL-PAK!!! Yes, I could have just thrown it away, but there could have been a great coupon.

One year.

Well, it has been quite a year. As you can see I have grown a bit. I also got the rookie parents up to speed on what they should be doing. They feel pretty comfortable now, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve for the up coming year (walking, temper tantrums, using the word "no"). Thanks to all family and friends that helped my parents get through the first year. Your support has meant so much to them. So, on with year number two.

I feel as if my parents are having fun at my expense.
