Lazy Sunday morning

Mom has been working a lot lately. A few nights and some weekends. I was glad to get some quality time reading the Sunday paper with her. I think she is upset with Daddy for posting a picture in her PJ's. I found these bunny ears and was feeling a little silly. Oh, and yes that is a Hokie Bird on my t-shirt. Mommy's friends are now upset. I guess I shouldn't mention that I can say "Hokie Bird". Dad said the more I say it, the more Granddaddy will contribute to my college fund.

A visit from Cora

My friend Cora came to visit this weekend. Her parents and my parents became good friends in grad school. We went to the park and had a great time on the slide. At dinner we made faces at each other and grooved to the music. Next month we are going on a road trip to NC.

Toy boxes aren't for toys!

I am validating the theory that kids don't need toys just a good box to play in. I dumped out my toy box and found it to be more interesting than the toys. Please don't call social services on my parents. Really, I wanted to get in.

What is on my head?

I should have a contest to see who can guess what is on my head. I'm starting to get the concept of clothes and how they come on and off since I wear about three outfits a day. One to the sitter which gets dirty in the sandbox, the replacement and my PJ's. Well this was my bathing suit from the weekend turned inside out. I almost had it and something went terribly wrong.

Now this is how to have fun in the pool

Instead of swim class this week, it was off for a swim at the pool with my grandparents. GG Hudson was in town as well and made sure everyone behaved in the pool. My parents completely wore me out. Apparently I didn't move at all during my nap. Nothing better than a post pool nap.

Day with Daddy

Mom had to work today, so Dad was running the show. We started the day grooving to some tunes in my full torso bib. I just felt like wearing it. Then it was off to swim class where the instructor insists the best way to teach your child to swim is by repeated dunking. But I rallied with a snack and a trip to the grocery store. I had samples of cheese while at the deli counter. After my nap, the day was finished off at the Children's Museum. I greatly enjoyed the water exhibits. Before coming home, I made a card for Mommy. Now that I exhausted Dad, Mom is up tomorrow. I don't understand why they cannot keep up with me.
