Deja vu

Yes, this is the second shoe picture in a couple of weeks. Last time it was Dad's shoes, now Mom's. You will notice I am clutching Duckie. Duckie is my favoritest crib buddy. Mom tried to put me down a couple of nights ago without Duckie. I was having none of it. Soon Duckie appeared.

Right...enough about the bathroom, back to me.

Normally eating is not a time for play, but for whatever reason Mom and Dad decided to turn dinner into a photo shoot. In fact, Dad was egging me on. The first picture I am imitating him where he makes fists and scrunches up his face.

Before and after - Master bathroom

Well, technically this is a family blog and not all about me, so I will comment about a major event around the house. Recently, Mom and Dad updated their bathroom. The bathroom had not been updated since construction in the late 80's. It was two separate spaces for the vanity and bathtub. Now it is one room. Mom is really excited about the new linen closet.

Why stop at one pair of shoes?

My shoes just aren't cutting it. I thought I'd try Dad's out. I'm getting pretty good at it. By the way, Dad really likes this outfit. He thinks I look very cute in it.

Now Mom is doing it too.

Last week, Dad thought it would be fun to put Play-Doh on my nose. This week Mom is having fun with my hair. Just remember, I decide where you go in your old age.

What did I do to deserve this?

I love the goldfish. One of my favorite snacks. Usually they are parcelled out at snack time, but I must have done something right to get the bag.

Give me the keys, I'll drive.

I can drive this car. I do pretty well pushing the radio flyer around the house. I will have to come up with some sort of system to reach the pedals. So, Mom and Dad kick back, take a nap and we'll be home in a couple of hours.

New things to explore

Of course I had to check out all the things in my grandparent's garden. This was particularly interesting. St Francis is even looking on.

With my parents at the beach.

I think my parents like me a lot.

At the beach for Memorial Day

Last year when I visited the beach, I couldn't walk or have much interest in the whole event. But this year, it was much more interesting. You may have notice there is no one else on the beach. Just a family tradition of going to the beach at the crack of dawn and leaving by 10.

Dad, I think we need to talk.

Apparently my role in the family unit is to provide comic relief for my dad. It is hard to see, but I have an orange dot of play-doh on my nose.
