Out for a stroll

Before the rains came this weekend, we had a little time in the yard to run around. Mom blew bubbles, which was completely fascinating. I can say "bubble" by the way. I even blew a couple myself. I did have to wear this ridiculous hat. I protested a bit, but Mom say no going outside without the hat. Dad backed her up. They are going to be tough. They seem to consult on everything. I will break them down eventually though.

Helping with cleanup.

So instead of pulling out my toys and playing with them, I thought I would just sit in the toy box. This way when it comes to cleanup time, it is already done. On a side note, yes, I probably need a haircut. Mom tries to put clips in my hair, but I act like it is the worse thing ever and pull them out.

Future embarassing photo

I think Dad has started a special folder of pictures he will pull out when I'm a teen. This one will probably be on the cover.

Uncle Kenny is home

The night before we came home, Uncle Kenny returned from his deployment in the Middle East. I celebrated his return by making farty noises with my hand.

Fort Worden

Near Port Townsend was Fort Worden, an army base turned over to Washington state parks. We went for a hike. I tried by best to stay awake, but just couldn't do it.

Olympic Mountains

This was the view from the ferry as we crossed the Puget Sound from Whidbey to Port Towsend. Despite the reputation for rain, this was one of several nice days we had on our trip.

Snuggly time with Aunt Molly

There is always time for a little snuggle.

Easter egg hunt #2

This time around, I figured out that the Easter egg hunt isn't about the egg, but the yummy goodness inside. Now that I think about it, I haven't see the chocolates since Easter. I will have to talk with Dad about this.

Easter morning.

Recently, I have been watching Sesame Street in the morning while Mom and Dad finish up getting ready for the day. Well, I discovered Elmo. I call Elmo "La La" because that's his theme song. Aunt Molly surprised me Easter morning with an Elmo.

Sightseeing is fun, but...

...you still have to make time to play. This playground was next to Aunt Molly and Uncle Kenny's place. Eventually, I would gather up the courage to go down the slide by myself.

Deception Pass - Whidbey Island

Sorry for the long layoff. Since our trip to see Molly in Washington, I've had a couple of ear infections and haven't felt up to writing. So our trip was a blast. It was great seeing Aunt Molly again. We spent our first full day sightseeing on Whidbey Island. Yes, it was as cold as it looks.
