Our family website to celebrate the life of Maeve, born January 2007, and all of her adventures. Our family grew in February 2009 as we welcomed William home.
So my first go at cereal and I get peas. Not fair. I had no interest in this. Since, I'm a little young to be starting on cereal, my parents switched over to fruits to get me interested in eating. Now, if I can balance showing just enough interest and just enough indifference to keep the fruit coming and not have the veggies back. WEF
Here she comes again. Can I ever catch a break. I thought I was somewhat protected in the chair, but no. I'm keeping a list. It won't be long before I'm mobile and the day will be mine. WEF
So far, I have had one plane trip a year. Last year was a visit to Aunt Molly and Uncle Kenny in Oak Harbor, WA. This year Liberty, TX to visit Grandmother's family. I told Will what to expect since this was his first trip. Can you see how attentive I am to him on the airplane? We all look really tired as we got up at 4 for a 6am flight. The weekend was great fun. Lots of new things to explore at the family bayou cottage. Here is my new backpack Mom bought for the trip. Then there was the matching outfits. Ah, the things you do for grandparents. The trip was a little rough coming back. Flight canceled, but we made it to Charlottesville and caught a ride from Uncle Alex back to Richmond. Such a good friend. MMF
Will is my buddy. I lobes him so much. I like snuggling and giving kisses. He has been pulling on my hair lately and from time to time grabs my things. Not sure what I think about that. Maybe this behavior will pass. MMF
Since Will's arrival, Dad hasn't been pulling out the camera as much. Just too much to do in the day. I have also gone through a phase where I haven't wanted my picture taken. I used to love it and would run to see the picture after it was taken. This must have been a weak moment. MMF
Dad has taken on quite an ambitious project-repairing and replacing porch railings. Phase 1 involved Mom taking Will and I on a road trip for the day. We came back to see Dad's efforts. Well done Father! MMF
